She walked into a retreat looking nine months pregnant.

She wasn't.

And the journey that brought her to that moment? It's one that 3.2 billion women are living right now — mostly in silence.

Charlene Modeste has fibroids. For years she bled through days she couldn't get out of bed, watched her body expand while doctors shrugged, lost her insurance before she could get surgery, and got handed a hysterectomy recommendation the moment the system decided it was convenient for them — not her.

She said no.

Instead she tried everything. Fasting. Acupuncture. Traditional Chinese medicine. Cranial sacral massage. Homeopathy. And then one day she fell down a rabbit hole that led her straight to Northern California, a community of cannabis farmers, and a biological process called apoptosis — where mutated cells literally check themselves out of the body.

Her fibroids started shrinking. An inch and a half in ten days. Three and a half inches by month four.

And her doctors? Still not impressed.

In this episode Charlene sits down with Rho for one of the most honest, warm, and unexpectedly hilarious conversations we've had on this couch. Because yes — there is a barbecue story. There is a beer toss. And there is a woman who grabbed Charlene's belly and said "five boys, you poor thing."

But underneath every laugh is something that will make you want to call every woman you love and say — you need to hear this.

In This Episode We Cover

  • What fibroids actually are and why 80% of women will be affected by fifty
